The museum is conveniently located in Corfu Town, just a short walk south of the main hub of San Rocco Square.
The collection contains some of the most significant artifacts from Archaic Greece.
While the Gorgon Medusa pediment can be impressive for all ages, the museum is generally more suited to adults and older children with an interest in history and archaeology.
The museum does not have its own cafe, but it is located very close to the many excellent cafes and restaurants around San Rocco Square and the wider Corfu Town area.
