Casa Parlante offers one of the most unique and immersive museum experiences in Corfu. Translating to “The Talking House,” it brings a 19th-century Corfiot noble’s mansion to life through a captivating blend of period furniture, animatronic figures, sounds, and smells. Getting There & Location

The museum is located in the heart of the pedestrianized Old Town, on one of its main streets.

  • By Car & Parking: You cannot drive to Casa Parlante. The museum is located in a pedestrian-only zone. The best options are the large paid car parks near the New Port or below the Old Fortress by the Liston. From either, it is a pleasant 10-minute walk.
  • By Bus: All Blue Bus services terminate at San Rocco Square, which is an easy 10 minute walk away. From the Green Bus (KTEL) station, it is approximately a 30-minute walk.
  • By Foot: This is the only way to arrive at the entrance. The museum is on Nikiforou Theotoki street, one of the main thoroughfares branching off from the Liston.

  • Tickets: An entrance fee is required, which includes a guided tour. Tours typically run continuously throughout the day, where a guide will lead you through the rooms and explain the exhibits.
  • Access: The museum is located within a traditional town building, which may involve stairs. Accessibility for those with mobility issues may be limited.
