A Note for History Buffs

While exploring Corfu Town, keep an eye out for remnants of the Land Wall and its bastions, which once connected the Old and New Fortresses to create a complete defensive perimeter. Sections can still be seen near the Spianada and San Rocco Square, offering a deeper understanding of the town’s impressive fortifications.
