Vlacherna Monastery

Possibly the most photographed spot in Corfu. This tiny, whitewashed chapel sits on its own islet connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway.

Paleokastritsa Monastery

Pantokrator Monastery

Agia Triada

A lesser-known gem set in a lush green valley near Paleokastritsa, this monastery provides a serene and authentic atmosphere away from the crowds.

While exploring Corfu Town, the most important religious site is the magnificent Church of Saint Spyridon, which houses the relics of the island’s beloved patron saint. Don’t also miss the Metropolitan Cathedral (Panagia Spiliotissa) and the Byzantine Museum, housed in the historic Antivouniotissa Church.
