An Overview of Pantokrator Monastery

Crowning the very summit of Mount Pantokrator, the highest peak in Corfu, the Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Saviour is a site of immense spiritual significance and breathtaking beauty. The current 17th-century church was built upon the ruins of a much older monastery, offering a tangible link to centuries of faith. However, the primary draw for most visitors is its unparalleled location. A visit is not just a spiritual pilgrimage but an adventure, culminating in the most expansive and awe-inspiring 360-degree panoramic view the island has to offer.
