  • Parking: Free spots are available along certain areas of the shore, but get there early for the best ones, alternatively, you can park on the main resort street and walk down to the beach.
  • Accessibility: No steep paths—just an easy walk from nearby accommodations.
  • Transport: Public buses run from Corfu Town (Route A3), or rent a car for a more scenic drive.

Beach & Water Characteristics

Is Acharavi Beach Right For You?

You’ll Love Acharavi Beach If…

  • You love peace, comfort, and authentic Greek vibes.
  • You are looking for a beach much calmer than Corfu’s party-heavy beaches.
  • You are travelling with family and need a spot ideal for relaxation.

Things to Keep in Mind…

  • The beach has a mix of sand and pebbles. If you prefer soft sand, consider bringing water shoes.
  • Lifeguards may not always be present. Always swim cautiously, especially with children.
  • The north coast can experience stronger winds, particularly in the afternoons.
  • Depending on the season, some areas of the beach may have seaweed build-up.
  • While Acharavi has great restaurants, it’s not a party hotspot. For lively nightlife, head to nearby Sidari.
  • During peak season (July/August), sunbeds can fill up quickly. Arrive early for a good spot.
