Agia Triada Beach

Agia Triada Beach

Overview

Corfu’s beaches come in all shapes and sizes, but Agia Triada Beach is one of those charming little spots that will surely surprise you. Whether you’re after crystal-clear waters, a peaceful escape, or easy access to all the essentials, this cozy bay in Paleokastritsa delivers.

Location

Agia Triada Beach sits in Paleokastritsa, on Corfu’s west coast, just 22 km from Corfu Town. It’s easy to find and even easier to fall in love with. Paleokastritsa is famous for its dramatic landscapes, and Agia Triada is one of its best-kept secrets—perfect for travellers who appreciate small beaches with big personality. The beach consists of soft sand with pebbly patches and is peaceful without being too remote.

Water Depth & Safety – Calm & Crystal Clear

  • Gradual slope into the water—safe for all levels of swimmers.
  • Shallow near the shore, but deep enough further out for a good swim.
  • Perfect snorkelling conditions—you’ll spot plenty of marine life.
  • No lifeguards, so swim smart and keep an eye on conditions.

Amenities

Agia Triada Beach is fully organized, meaning you won’t have to sacrifice convenience for beauty. There are sunbeds & umbrellas for rent as well as showers & toilets for a quick refresh. There are also beach bars for drinks with a view and water sports options—kayaks, paddleboards, pedal boats, you name it. Finally, there is a a boat rental service on the beach too, to explore nearby caves and hidden bays.

Getting There – Parking, Accessibility & Transport

  • Parking: There is limited parking for this beach, and most choose to park along the road. There is also parking at the nearby beach bar, although this is chargeable.
  • Accessibility: From the main road there is a decline towards the beach.
  • Transport: Public buses from Corfu Town stop in the area – Routes A9 & A10.

Things to keep in mind before visiting

1. Limited Space
The beach is small compared to other Corfu beaches, so it can feel crowded during peak season. Arriving early ensures you get a good spot.

2. Pebbly Sections
While there’s soft sand, some areas have pebbles, especially near the water. Water shoes might be helpful if you prefer smooth footing.

3. Boat Traffic
Boats frequently pass through the area, and boat rental operates form this beach. If you prefer a quieter swim, consider visiting in the morning.

4. Strong Sun Exposure
There’s limited natural shade, so bringing an umbrella or hat is a good idea, especially in the midday heat.

5. Parking Challenges
While parking is available, it fills up quickly in peak months. If you’re driving, arrive early or consider alternative transport options.

6. Seasonal Crowds
While Agia Triada is not overly crowded, July and August bring more visitors. If you prefer a quieter experience, consider visiting in May, June, or September.

Final Verdict

  • Best for: Travelers who love small, scenic beaches with easy access to food, drinks, and activities.
  • Best time to go: June to September for sun-soaked perfection, but May and October for fewer crowds.
  • Crowds: Can get busy, but arriving early ensures prime spots.
  • Extra perks: Jaw-dropping views, clear waters, and proximity to Paleokastritsa’s must-see locations.
