| Access Easy (By Car) | Waters Crystal-clear & Calm | Best For A Quiet Swim & Lunch |
Avlaki Beach is a serene coastal escape tucked between the more bustling resorts of northeast Corfu. This long, pebbly shoreline is lapped by crystal-clear waters and framed by lush hillsides, offering a peaceful retreat for those who prefer calm over crowds. Whether you’re after a quiet swim, a scenic stroll, or a leisurely lunch by the sea, Avlaki delivers understated charm and natural beauty in equal measure.
Situated on Corfu’s north-eastern coast, Avlaki Beach lies between the villages of Agios Stefanos and Kassiopi, around 36 km from Corfu Town. The drive from Corfu Town takes around 1 hour.
Avlaki Beach keeps things simple but comfortable. There are a couple of well-regarded tavernas right on the west side of the beachfront, serving fresh seafood and local dishes. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire in the west side of the beach, while the rest of the beach remains natural and unspoiled. There are basic facilities on the west side of the beach such as toilets, but no showers or changing rooms. Water sports are limited, but sailing and paddleboarding are sometimes available through local providers.
