Benitses is located 12 km south of Corfu Town, making for an easy 25-minute drive.
Benitses beach is a mix of coarse sand and shingle/pebbles. The seabed is similar, so water shoes can be a good idea for extra comfort.
While it has a lively past, Benitses is now much more of a relaxed, family-friendly resort. It has a great selection of bars and restaurants for evening entertainment, but it is not a late-night party destination like Kavos or Ipsos.
It is very easy. The No. 6 Blue Bus runs a very frequent and reliable service, taking about 25-30 minutes to get right into the centre of Corfu Town.
