Moraitika Beach is a relaxed, sun-drenched stretch on Corfu’s southeast coast - a blend of soft sand and pebbles lapped by gentle, shallow waters. It’s a great choice for those who want a laid-back beach day with all the essentials of a bustling resort close at hand. It shares a long bay with its quieter neighbour, Messonghi, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment.

📍 Plan Your Day Walk over to Messonghi |
Moraitika is about 20 km south of Corfu Town. The drive takes around 35 - 40 minutes.
Moraitika beach is a mix of sand and shingle/pebbles. The seabed is mostly sandy, making it comfortable for swimming.
It has a lively atmosphere with many bars and restaurants, but it is not a wild 18-30s party resort like Kavos. The vibe is more geared towards families and couples enjoying evening entertainment and cocktails.
They share the same long bay, separated by the Messonghi River. Moraitika is the larger and more bustling of the two, with a busy main strip. Messonghi is much quieter, retaining more of its traditional fishing village feel. You can easily walk between them.
