Porto Timoni is one of Corfu’s most captivating and iconic destinations—a stunning double bay where two crystal-clear coves meet lush greenery. Known for being one of the most ‘instagrammable’ beaches in Greece, it’s a paradise for adventurers and nature lovers. It’s perfect for those craving both a rewarding hike and a swim in an unforgettable, unspoiled setting.

The beach is located below the village of Afionas, and reaching the start of the trail is the first step.
Porto Timoni is a completely wild and unorganized beach, which is a key part of its charm. There are no amenities on the beach itself.
Firstly, Porto Timoni is crazy beautiful, it is literally like something out of a dream and well worth the visit. With this being said, the hike down is long, especially in the heat, and when you get to the bottom there are no facilities to buy drinks etc (we did know this before going though so this isn’t the reason for the 4* instead of 5*).
The reason we knocked off one star on the rating is that the beach was SO BUSY. Now we did visit in August, so this is to be expected but it was difficult to find a place to sit.
All in all, we would definitely reccomend it, but probably just take the water taxi instead and be sure to get there early 🙂
