High in the hills, these villages offer a glimpse into Corfu’s past. The most famous is Old Perithia, but also explore the panoramic views from Lakones and the traditional square of Doukades.
Dotted around the coastline are beautiful fishing villages that have retained their character. Don’t miss the sunset from clifftop Afionas or the tiny, idyllic fishing port of Kouloura.
Some of the most rewarding walks follow the coastline, revealing hidden coves and dramatic sea views. The most famous is the hike to Porto Timoni, but the trail to Arkoudilas Beach is also spectacular.
