Situated on Corfu’s eastern coast, Benitses is conveniently located just 12 km south of Corfu Town. The drive from Corfu Town is straightforward and takes approximately 25 minutes.
While Benitses was famous for its wild nightlife in the past, it has since evolved into a more family-friendly and food-focused resort. It has a lively atmosphere with many great bars, but it’s no longer the 18-30s party capital it once was.
The main beach is a long stretch of shingle and pebbles. It is well-organised with sunbeds and umbrellas for hire, and the water is typically calm and clear. Beach shoes can be useful for comfort.
Benitses is very close to the Achilleion Palace. It’s only a 5-10 minute drive up the hill from the resort, making it an incredibly easy and popular excursion for visitors staying in the village.
