The spiritual beacon of Corfu. St. Spyridon Church, with its iconic red-domed bell tower, is the heart of local faith. It houses the relics of the island's patron saint and features a lavish interior of gold and silver that inspires awe.
The cosmopolitan heart of the city. The Liston, with its elegant French-style arches, and the Spianada, the largest square in the Balkans, form the town's most famous meeting point. Enjoy a coffee beneath the arcades, watch the world go by, or catch a game of cricket on the green.

The true soul of Corfu is found in its kantounia—the labyrinth of narrow, cobbled backstreets. This is where you'll feel the city's pulse: the scent of fresh laundry hanging high above, hidden chapels, and tiny, picturesque squares. It's an experience you must live.
The majestic guardian of the city. The history of the Old Fortress spans centuries. Walk its ramparts, explore its tunnels, and climb to its peak for unparalleled panoramic views of the town and sea. Inside, don't miss the unique Church of St. George.
The absolute postcard image of Corfu. The whitewashed Vlacherna Monastery and the lush green Pontikonissi (Mouse Island) compose the most iconic scene on the island. Enjoy the view from Kanoni while watching the planes land.
Housed in the magnificent Palace of St. Michael and St. George is a cultural surprise: the only Museum of Asian Art in Greece. The building itself is worth the visit, and the collection is a unique and fascinating diversion.
Surrounded by a fairytale-like wooded estate, Mon Repos is a palace steeped in royal history, most famous as the birthplace of Prince Philip. Today, the elegant villa is a museum, and its grounds are perfect for a beautiful, shady walk.
You can see the main highlights in one full day. However, to truly soak up the atmosphere, explore the museums, and enjoy leisurely meals, 2-3 days is ideal.
Yes, and that's part of the magic! The maze of narrow kantounia is designed to be wandered. Don't worry about a map; just allow yourself to explore and you'll always find your way back to a main square or the sea.
Early morning (before 10 am) is wonderful for peaceful exploration and photography before the crowds arrive. The late afternoon and evening are magical, as the town cools down and the buildings are beautifully lit.
The prettiest Greek island capital we have ever visited. Lots of pretty little coffee shops and good quality restaurants. The Liston was our favourite part personally, we sat there for hours just people watching.
What an incredible vibe! So much to see and do, and the architecture is just a dream. Could have stayed for a whole week just in the old town to be honest... I WILL BE BACK!
