It is an excellent all-rounder, appealing to families and couples alike with its long beach, vast array of restaurants and bars, and the hidden gem of its traditional old village perched on the hillside above. It shares a long beach with its quieter neighbour, Messonghi, giving visitors a huge area to explore.

Situated on the east coast, Moraitika is approximately 20 km south of Corfu Town and the airport. The main road runs directly through the resort, while the beach area remains more tranquil. It is separated from Messonghi to the south by the Messonghi River. The drive from Corfu Town takes around 40 minutes.
Moraitika has a lively atmosphere with many bars and music venues, but it's not a wild 18-30s party resort. The vibe is more geared towards families and couples enjoying evening entertainment, cocktails, and music.
Absolutely! The walk up the hill is well worth the effort. The Old Village offers a glimpse into traditional Corfiot life, with charming architecture, authentic tavernas, and breathtaking views over the resort and coastline.
They are neighbouring resorts separated by the Messonghi River. Moraitika is larger and more bustling, with a busy main strip full of shops and bars. Messonghi is much quieter, retaining more of its traditional fishing village feel. You can easily walk between the two in 5-10 minutes.
