Roda is perfectly situated on Corfu’s northern coastline, approximately 36 km from Corfu Town and the airport. It lies between the larger resort of Acharavi to the east and the more bustling Sidari to the west. The village stretches along its beautiful beachfront, offering easy access to the sea from anywhere in the resort. The drive from Corfu Town takes around 50 minutes.
Yes, Roda boasts a long and wide beach of golden sand. The water is also very shallow for a long way out, making it one of the best sandy beaches in Corfu for families with young children.
Roda has a vibrant and lively atmosphere, especially in the evening along the promenade. It’s bustling and fun, but it’s not considered a wild ‘party’ resort like Kavos. It’s more focused on family-friendly entertainment, good food, and relaxed drinks.
Roda is very close to Sidari, only about a 10-15 minute drive (approx. 8 km) away, making it very easy to visit the famous Canal D’Amour for a day trip.
