In one of the most historic corners of Corfu Town, the Porta Remounta neighborhood celebrates St. Paraskevi on July 26th. This is a classic “urban Panigiri” where the Venetian charm of the Old Town meets the raw energy of Greek tradition.

The narrow streets and small squares near the old gate (Porta Remounta) transform into a festive hub. Local vendors set up grills, and live bands play traditional Ionian songs. It is a unique experience to see the city’s residents gathering in their neighborhood to dance and celebrate, offering visitors a glimpse of the “real” Corfu Town that exists beyond the main tourist sights.
