Kato Korakiana is 14 km north of Corfu Town. The drive takes around 25 minutes.

Kato (Lower) Korakiana is a large village on the plains, known for its cultural sites and grander houses. Ano (Upper) Korakiana is its counterpart, a much steeper and more labyrinthine village higher up the mountain, famous for its 37 churches.
