Liapades is a wonderfully authentic and tranquil gem on Corfu’s beautiful west coast. Unlike its more bustling neighbours, Liapades retains a strong sense of traditional Greek life, with its charming old houses, narrow alleys, and a relaxed, unhurried pace. It’s an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful holiday surrounded by stunning natural beauty, offering access to some of the island’s most pristine pebble coves and crystal-clear waters.

Liapades is on the west coast, 20 km from Corfu Town. The drive takes around 35 minutes.
The main, most accessible beach in Liapades is called Gefyra Beach. This is where you will find the tavernas, sunbeds, and boat rental services.
From Liapades, you have two main options: you can take the scenic hiking trails through the olive groves (wear sturdy shoes), or you can hire a small motorboat or take a water taxi from Gefyra beach.
The traditional old village is located up a steep hill from the main beach area. It is a 15-20 minute walk, but it is all uphill from the beach.
